This is how a beer garden should be! Relaxed atmosphere, the service humorous and always in a good mood. The menu and drinks menu, decoration, music and even the design of the quiet places follow the pirate concept. Since we live nearby, we like to arrange our cycling and hiking tours so that we can stop here at the end. Keep it up!

Mega cool location in the Danube valley ?? The atmosphere is really unique in the region, all employees are very friendly and courteous ? The food is excellent in terms of quality and taste, especially the smoker stories. Absolutely top ?It is mandatory to stop there for lunch when we are in the Danube Valley ?️?️?✌️Can recommend it to everyone, also great for kids, there is something for everyone.

The concept is original and the service is very friendly. Unfortunately the toilets are scary. That fits the concept but ...!

We only had one coffee, but we were absolutely thrilled with the atmosphere. And the coffee was great too :-)

The pirate hostel offers many activities. We (family with 3 children) stayed at the hostel and are still impressed with the decor of the rooms. Admittedly, everything is very simple, but that fits the concept of the pirate hostel. Renting canoes is also very easy. The staff are very friendly. Children are welcome. However, you should reserve in advance. Because the boats are limited per day. Conclusion: we had wonderful days in the hostel and on the Danube and would love to come back.

Just awesome. True to the subject down to the smallest detail. Excellent cuisine, which you can tell that everything is made with love and homemade. In addition, a nimble and very friendly service. All of this at reasonable prices. Can just be recommended.

Fun fun fun??

Fun games even when it rains + great food

Very nice weekend experienced. We were there a week and a half ago and we all felt well. Food is top, canoe trip and Piatenbattle were great. Special praise to Männi (I hope that's right), with whom the pirate battles really made fun. My girlfriend had a nice birthday. Gladly again, although it was sometimes difficult to climb into bed, with the help of ropes. And the whole already with a few beers intus. ;)

Jack Rattle's Valley of the Pirates, we were with 7 men and 2 boats on 06/30/2019 at over 30 degrees. Just the building where you register is a mega location and this is where we will come to eat or celebrate, made mega strong. Check-in is short and painful after a short film for your own safety. You get a paddle and a life jacket. The boat handover went as smoothly as the rest and the adventure on the Danube took its course. With the temperatures we had a lot of fun and cooling included. However, in the heat there were several stretches in the blazing sun, but there was cool water. The 3 small weirs are no problem, one has to be avoided, the other two can be accessed without any problems. The exit in Sigmaringen was just as easy and Jack Rattle's team received and accepted everything. So here is canoeing fun and we will definitely be back ... Tip from us Car in Sigmaringen to the multi-storey car park Day ticket costs 2, - €, then with the 2nd car to the starting point and at the end you have to walk 10 minutes through the city, but that's no problem ;-)

Very nice weekend spent with veal sausage breakfast, canoeing and smoker BBQ. Very nice and attentive staff. Arrived the day before with a mobile home, next to "Alte Rumbrennerei" (party location) is a parking space with electricity and water. However, nothing for late risers, as you are woken up by the first train at 7:30 in the morning. In the distillery no more rum is distilled but rapeseed oil. Owners very friendly and were allowed to spontaneously watch how it works. Son Paul explained everything to us with great passion.
